No accounts, uploaded files or server-side result database.
Test data and history
Mouse events are processed in memory on this page. Completed result summaries and their settings are saved under mbt:history keys in localStorage, up to ten results per tool. No raw event trace is uploaded. Results remain until you clear them here, clear browser storage or use a browser that does not retain storage. Private mode or a full storage quota may prevent saving.
Sharing
Saving a result image creates a PNG locally. Copying result text puts a summary on your clipboard. Nothing is posted automatically. If you choose to send the image or text elsewhere, that destination’s privacy practices apply. Copying a desktop link includes only the canonical page address.
Optional usage measurement
Usage measurement is currently unconfigured, so this build sends no analytics requests. The tools emit provider-free diagnostic events in the page for testing. If the operator configures Google Analytics later, it will load only on mousebuttontester.com after you opt in. Measurement is limited to tool, result category, start/finish/share activity and visible engagement time. It excludes raw input, full query URLs and free-text fields. Advertising and Google signals are disabled.
Hosting and external pages
Loading a website necessarily sends ordinary request information, such as your IP address, to its host. Hosting records depend on the selected deployment provider. Following documentation links sends you to external sites under their own policies. This site uses system fonts and has no embedded ads or remote images.
